It is hard for us to tell what they will choose to do this year as they may be looking to fall in line with other retailers by starting a few days early. This may help them buck the trend, or should I say a plateau of last year. Prior to Black Friday last year, Cath Kidston had a November sale with a reduction of 40 percent, and this ran for one week between the seventh and the 14th of that month. Additional lines were added to the Black Friday sale, and they offered 40% of on that day. The sale was short lived and only ran for three days, consumers then had to wait until Black Friday to have a sitewide sale which also had 40% off. We speculate the 40% discount may be a standard discount percentage chosen by Cath Kidston and we will alert you as soon as the sale starts this year.
